WMD Form 306 plus – large tube forming
WMD form 306 plus is the upgrade model of the WMD FORM tube end forming machine, designed for large tube processing with a maximum tube diameter up to 90 mm.
The WMD FORM system forms the tube end in one operation and completes the connection with standard hydraulic fittings:
- One forming operation creates both sealing elements – the 24° conical metal sealing surface and the FKM seal ring groove – so the tube end needs no welding, no pre-assembly and no second process.
- The tube is clamped by a C-type lock ring and closed with a standard DIN nut, so the joint absorbs vibration and pressure shock instead of loosening under them.
- Tool-less change of forming head and clamping jaws, with automatic calibration of die and jig.
- Manual and automatic mode, with the working pressure adjusted to the tube size selected.
- IoT remote assistance and remote diagnosis, so a service question is answered from the machine’s own data.
Model 306 and 308 process tube outside diameter 6-42 mm in carbon steel and stainless steel; the 306 plus extends the range to large tube up to 90 mm.
